Dios sabe

Our team has a lot of unknowns ahead of us. Nate and Deb summed it up well in their last prayer update. If you haven’t had a chance to read it, or if you don’t receive it, you can read it HERE.

The last several years for us have been unknown after unknown after unknown. It’s not exactly a comfortable way to live, but we have lived that way believing that God wanted us to move in a certain direction. A direction that happened to be dimly lit most of the time. But he’s always been faithful. He has provided answers in ways that reveal his power and glory. Every time.

So with the recent news that we will be able to complete our studies here in CR (which was one of our big unknowns for the past several months), we’re now looking ahead to still more unknowns. And as I was thinking about those unknowns this week, I happened to read the passage about Jesus feeding the 5,000. There’s something in that story that just stood out like it never has before. When Jesus asked Philip where they could buy bread to feed all those people. Jesus asked him just to test him, because he already had in mind what he was going to do. HE ALREADY KNEW WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO. Man, that really resonated and was such a good reminder.

So how are we going to get to Argentina? Or is it even Argentina? What will our team be doing in a year?

God already knows what he is going to do.
