A Visit to Malachi’s School
This morning we visited Malachi’s school. Here’s a picture of the outside and a picture of Chi and Ellie getting to know the playground in the back.
It seemed to be a very nice school. It put us at ease finally being able to see and talk with the faculty. We met his teacher, Paola, she seemed very nice. She said she knows a little bit of english, so we’re very thankful for that. It’s probably not much, but enough to communicate in a pinch to Malachi if needed. Ellie will be in the classroom right next to him.
It’s gonna be rough. He was so clingy already today and we just went for a visit to look at the place. Monday is an opening ceremoney for the school year and there will be no class after it. Tuesday they go for 2 hours, wednesday 3 hours, then Thursday the full 4 hours. I won’t be able to be there on Monday, I’ll be heading into Buenos Aires to start the process for our DNI (a National Identity document). It’s only a ceremony and we won’t be leaving him at school on Monday so it won’t be a problem. Tuesday will be the tough day, the first day we leave him at school.
We’ll let you know how it goes…stay tuned.

This was so good to hear about Malachi’s school. We have been praying all day for him. Please let us know how it goes tomorrow. We’ll continue to pray. Will he be walking to school or does he take a bus?
PS We had a foot of snow today. Wish the boys were here to play in it.
Hugs to all of you.
Love,
Mom Marty
