We’ve been in Argentina for one month! We’ve been missing you all and really wish we had internet access at our house. Please pray for the pole to be installed by the phone company, we can’t have a phone or internet until thats in place.
This week has been a very exciting and somewhat sad week. I’m so happy Malachi is liking school, but sad to not be with him in the morning. He’s gone for 4 hours a day. He’s done so well, and I can only praise God and thank you all so much for your prayers.
There are 14 kids in his class and they frequently get together with the 4 year old class Ellie is in. I still really don’t know what to expect from this first year of school as far as academics go…but as far as we’re concerned, Malachi learning to speak Castillano will be a great success.
Every3, 4, and 5 year old wears a smock (pintores) to attend school. It is cute to see kids around the city walking hand in hand with their parents to school in their pintores. So here’s a few shots of Malachi in his and with Ellie too. The othr picture of Chi pointing to a drawing he made of himself with his class. His name in Castillano is Malaquías, he wrote it!

It’s so good to hear about school and see pictures. We have been praying every day for Malachi as he starts school and for you two also. We send our love. Love, Mom
Great to see Malachi adjusting to school! Love the pictures. Sounds like things are going well.
They look so grown up and so happy too. I’m thankful they are adjusting well. Thanks for the post! We miss you!!
I’m so glad school is going so well! I hope and will be praying that he continues to like school and learn Spanish. I love and miss you all very much!
Yeah! I’m so excited for Malachi, and will pray for all of you. We sure miss you!!
It’s so hard to believe that Malachi is in school now and in another country to boot! The pictures are great! Have tried a bnnch of times to call. I guess you still don’t have a phone. Have been wondering how the hunt for a vehicle has been going and if it is going to be possible to do what you had planned. Think about you all a lot and miss you!
Love, Dad
