Arrival

We arrived about 2 hours ago and were greeted at the airport by Brain and Rich. The trip to the house was made in a small van and the trunks had to be packed on top of the van. The land was flat and dotted with lots of cattle. We passed many greenhouses we’ll I guess they would be better described as rolls of plastic strung from polls covering acre’s of newly sprouted plants. The area all the way to Brian’s home seemed very depressed.  Lots of empty shacks and buildings. There were some tropical looking plants.  Also along the way here we passed some trees that had red ribbons hanging from them and red painted tables under the trees, this is something Brian will explain to us later.  Some type of superstition.

When we arrived at the house we were greeted by Nate, Deb, Tara, Gill and all the kids.  They feed us a variety of Empanada’s which are types of stuffed calzone.  We are now resting until 4:00 when Brian will have an orientation for us.  Ciao`   :)
