Saturday

Saturday,

8:30 am —The whole group is down in the kitchen area reading, blogging and eating breakfast. The weather is perfect. The group is preparing for Hora Feliz (Happy Hour) which will be held this morning and then again this afternoon at two different locations in town. There will be 3 clowns (payaso)  from the I-Go handing out candy. Other team members will go along to take pictures and others will stay at the house and pray. We also have 2 visitors from the Grace Brethren Church in Buenos Aires joining us for this event. Their names are Hugo & Louisa they will be playing games with the children and teaching them about God. Hugo was born in a Villa Miseria (village of misery) and accepted Christ during a Hora Feliz when he was young.

10:30 pm—God truly blessed the Hora Feliz today. Many kids joined the activities they had so much fun with the clowns. At one point Gary Mason fell down and one little boy came up and patted his belly and then sat on him. After the clowns gave out candy Hugo played games with the kids and then had them sit down on the grass while he told them the story of The Wordless Book. The kids sat motionless while he went through the story. After the story the clowns made balloon animals for the children.

The hope of the team was to make contacts with people in the area so that the GBC group would have opportunities to build relationships with these people in the future. God answered our prayers far above what we expected.
