Bueno bias to you all-it’s 0 Dark 30 here.
Well here we are at another new day from God! Today we’re doing the first of what Team LaPlata believes will be many more Hora Feliz programs. We will do Hora Feliz in the morning and again in the afternoon.
Hora Feliz is “happy hour”, no it’s not that kind of happy hour! It will be a “happy” time, by sharing God’s Love primarily to the children (and parents who may be there) in a couple of the local parks.
We will do one near a “villa” (pronounced “veesa” – which means village of misery). This area will part of my team’s walk on Tuesday, but I understand it’s an area of “shacks” (houses of cardboard, tin and whatever) these very poor people can find to protect themselves from the elements.
Since they are poor, they just move in on vacant land to create their “Ville” – so “village of misery” seems an appropriate name.
In the next set of bogs we hope of have some photo’s of our activities at for “Hora Feliz and in the background you will see the “Villa”.
At the Hora Feliz we will have music for the Children, Clowns (I be one), animal balloons etc; to draw children, and hopefully families to the event. The long term goal is to create another “opportunity to show Christ’s love. Team LaPlata’s goal here, as with all they other “interactions”, is to develop meaningful relationships which will lead to questions from the Argentine people as to why Team LaPlata is here -to show/share Christ’s love by reading the Bible, discussing what the Bible says. Team LaPlata believes, if the Argentine people read the Truth of the Bible, then they can eventually be the Church (people – not just a building).
I’m looking forward to doing what I can as “Clown for Christ”. If some of you read this before either 11am or 5pm (Saturday) your time then pray for Argentine children to come. If it’s after that, time pray for God’s continued work on the hearts of the Argentine families!
Team LaPlata intent is to continue the Hora Feliz each Saturday in the future. Pray this will be another “relationship” building opportunity.

Herb, Sounds like you are doing great there. Thea had sent you an email (personal one) and we would like you to answer very soon as we need to get busy with that project and all.
We would like to know if we can throw out the carpet since we will never use it. I want to clean up that area some so that we can organize and make room for two cars as winter is coming.
Please get back to me soon.
Love,
Me
Herb!
Your brothers are holding you up in prayer!
Be Strong.
Be safe.
Be effective!
