Anyhow, a few pictures for you all, starting with the outside:

And as we were waiting for the realtor, a car drove up and dropped off a woman and a little girl just Ellie’s size who went in that gate in the first picture.  Just the thought that a little girl Ellie’s age might live next door brought tears to my eyes.  The view from the front door:

Across the street is just a big open field with a bunch of old construction junk piled in it.  Interesting.  Here’s the view inside the front gate…that’s the duplex straight ahead.

These are of the duplex.  You can see how new it all is.  The stairs are just within the bounds of kid safety…

And only a couple of the house, mostly because the realtor rushed us a little and I couldn’t take many.  Partially, too, because inside pictures of an empty place are kind of difficult to take.  But here’s the tile in our bathroom and the lovely sky blue color of our entry room and living/dining room:

You can see from the pictures that the house is not as new and shiny as the duplex, but it’s still in pretty good shape with unobjectionable tile everywhere and fresh paint in the main rooms.  We can’t wiat to actually live there (and then I’ll try to take some better pictures, too).
